Ever since I saw the Detailed Doves dies I've wanted to combine it the World Map dies. When I saw LeAnn's colors this week I thought this could be the perfect time.
I've also wanted to use the Waterfront stamps as an alternative to creating a watercolor wash. Making multiples of a card can be an issue with washes as they are not time friendly. But using a stamp that looks like a wash is. I used several of the stamps in this set and stamped off once to get the wash lighter than the earth.
When making this card again, I think I will make the wash a different color altogether but since This is a color challenge that option wasn't possible here.
I did get in just a bit of the other two colors - the branch is Shaded Spruce and the dove's eye is Bumblebee.
We hope you will join us this week!

Ah, Jeanne! How clever to show the dove of peace with the greeting, Peace on Earth! The do go together perfectly, and of course, the globe die-cut is perfect, especially in gold on the dark background. This card is really inspired!

Jeanne, wonderful design! I've not used my dove die yet, love the idea of using it with the world! Joy to the World and Peace on Earth! You made this challenge look easy! TFS
